Manufacturing Production Coordinator at Stanadyne Assists the area supervisor in creating a safe work environment, implement policies and procedures, recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. May lead and ensure new hire on the job training completion. Duties and Responsibilities: * Assists supervisor in department operation. * Conducts meetings as required and attends manufacturing meetings. * Assists in departmental schedule adherence, participates in cost reduction programs, and assists in preventive maintenance programs. * Answers technical questions and checks work of others as necessary. * Trains and assists departmental employees as needed. * Assists in departmental adherence to safety standards, and asses risk and reduction. * Assists in equipment scheduling and housekeeping requirements. * Identifies issues and works with team in problem solving. * Assists with time and attendance. * Assures documents are maintained and kept up to date. Qualifications: * Implement lean concepts through 5S processes. * Working around moving parts of automated robotic machinery. * Must have analytical and problem-solving skills. * Must have good organizing ability and a good sense of urgency. * Must have good communication skills. * Must be able to work well with others. * Partner with internal customers and focus on smooth transition. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Special Qualifications * Demonstrate experience in designing and executing laser weld processes from development to production. Such experience would include equipment set up, tooling, weld process schedule development, equipment * Knows well and uses SPC to produce work of required quality. * Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. * Strong mechanical aptitude. * Setting and machine changeover/ operate CNC machinery. * Tear downs and repairs of equipment. * Must be willing and able to work any schedule as needed. Education and/or Experience: * Must be high school graduate or equivalent. * Technical School certificate a plus. * Must have a minimum of 2+ years' experience as CNC Operator/Setter VI or have equivalent experience as needed. * Must know well and be able to use intermediate shop math as necessary.
