Job Overview Responsible for performing all maintenance and repair activities performed by maintenance mechanics in the Behavioral Health Department. Completes routine inspections of facilities to identify problems and to assign tasks to appropriate staff. Ensures all facilities are properly maintained for various mandated inspections. Performs various general and preventive maintenance tasks. Work includes basic tasks in any of the following department trades (HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, grounds, etc.). Qualifications Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and up to one year of basic (general maintenance) technical training in maintenance mechanics and one to two years of previous work related experience. Valid driver's license required, as well as compliance with Qualifications to Drive a System Vehicle as well as all policies as outlined in the SJHS Fleet Management & Safety Program.
