**DIRECT HIRE - Production Supervisor** **Shift:** 1st shift - 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday **Salary:** $75,000 to $90,000 based on experience **Location:** Cincinnati, OH **Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO & Paid Holidays!** **JOB SUMMARY:** The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising production teams to meet production schedules while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Production Management:** + Implement daily production schedules and take corrective actions to ensure timely delivery. + Coordinate production activities and prioritize manufacturing tasks by reviewing job orders, schedules, and backorders. **Team Leadership:** + Coach and provide ongoing feedback to team members regarding performance. + Communicate workflow requirements across shifts to ensure consistency. + Coordinate training and cross-training of team members. **Collaboration:** + Work with Sales, Quality Assurance, and Engineering to confirm the capabilities and capacity of the Metalworking Group. + Review production schedules with Materials and Shipping to optimize resource utilization. **Issue Resolution:** + Troubleshoot bottlenecks and production issues, initiating action plans for improvements. + Discuss processing errors with team members, providing coaching to minimize future occurrences. **Performance Management:** + Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs. + Clearly communicate expectations to team leaders and monitor daily efficiency. + Address performance gaps and implement corrective actions as needed. **Employee Relations:** + Ensure all team members are aware of company policies affecting their employment. + Constantly monitor employee relations and address any concerns proactively. **Physical Demands & Work Environment:** + Significant walking and squatting required. + Minimal sitting at a desk. + Indoor industrial manufacturing environment. + Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection, moving equipment, and mechanical parts. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** + At least 5 years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting. + Bachelor's degree required. **Interested?
