Assistant Manager

The River Café is seeking an Assistant Manager to join an experienced restaurant team. The River Café is a fine dining restaurant located beneath the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo, Brooklyn. The restaurant continues to be celebrated for over four decades for its culinary attributes and exceptional wine program. ----- As a DINING ROOM MANAGER at The River Café, you will be responsible but not limited to executing the following duties: Work directly with the Chef and General Manager to implement restaurant standards. Train and oversee the dining room team. Collaborate with the Maí®tre D' to oversee all aspects of service in the dining room and bar. Enforce dining room staff's uniform and appearance. Engage in pre-shift meetings with enhancements to points of service. Qualifications Fine dining and management experience required. Strong understanding of the fine dining culture and NYC fine dining restaurants. Proficient in Micros, OpenTable and Microsoft Office 360. The River Café is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
