Create and update the wine list, writing detailed descriptions in coordination with the Beverage Director. Oversee wine and beverage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and effective management of the wine cellar. Organize and maintain the wine cellar layout in coordination with the Beverage Director to ensure efficient storage and accessibility. Manage daily wine service, ensuring wines are served at the right temperature and in appropriate glassware. Conduct wine training and tasting sessions for staff, including wines of the month and wine-by-the-glass options, in collaboration with the Beverage Director. Recommend and pair wines with food offerings, working with the culinary team to enhance the overall dining experience. Advise guests on wine selections based on their personal tastes and food choices, and provide information about different wine varieties and prices. Store open bottles properly to maintain their quality and ensure strong taste. Adhere to all health and safety regulations in wine handling and service
