Supervisor, Production - Paint

The primary focus of this position is to provide leadership and maintain all related activities the Powder Paint Department. What You Need to Know: * Departmental Champion for Safety and Quality. * Ensures each assigned worker follows all safety standards and maintains excellent Housekeeping. * Guides, schedules, and supervises the work of multiple Production Teams to ensure a quality product is produced while meeting productivity standards and cost targets, safely. * Communicates Departmental Goals and Objectives, and addresses any gaps with countermeasures. * Coaches and mentors assigned Team. Implements disciplinary and termination steps as necessary and according to company policy. What We Are Looking For: * High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred. * At least three years of related experience required. * Previous experience and success as a People Leader in a high speed manufacturing environment. * Experience with powder paint, liquid paint, and/or Electrocoat. * Familiar with Lean principles, Six Sigma, and 5S. * Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. * Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency. * Excellent interpersonal and management skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be able to traverse manufacturing site and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections. * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
