Position Summary The Sales Account Executive is responsible for identifying, researching, and selling services to new businesses on and near our fiber network. This includes obtaining leads utilizing prospecting techniques to obtain new accounts in an assigned MWFN market. This is a hunter role that requires the individual to prospect, negotiate fiber-based solutions and close sales. Job Responsibilities * Secure orders from potential customers to meet monthly/quarterly quotas * Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements * Prospect new business by cold calling, door knocking, virtual selling, and networking. * Follow up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to customers * Establish and develop professional customer relationships * Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer related activities for proposals, orders, and challenges concerning customer relationships * Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory * Provide a territorial sales forecast on a monthly basis * Perform assigned duties with minimum personal supervision * Other duties as assigned Education/Experience/Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required * 1-2 years B2B sales experience * Technical or telecommunications background a plus * Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable * Proficiency utilizing cold calling and door knocking sales techniques * Proven track record of success in sales * Must have strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Work is typically performed at the MWFN office or at the customer job sites.
