Join the Armani group for the opening of their new restaurant location at Madison Avenue! As a leader within Giorgio Armani Corporation, you will be responsible for driving sales and act as a brand champion for the restaurant location. You will collaborate with a strong team to ensure the business operates efficiently and effectively. Your ability to combine entrepreneurial spirit , passion for fine dining experience and service/wine knowledge will be key in driving results. As the Beverage Manager you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager in the development of business strategies focused on how profitability and forecasted growth will continue to build the brand identity. You will be accountable for the beverage operations and floor management. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a business-oriented leader who recognizes the changing market dynamics and will contribute to the restaurant's overall strategy in a collaborative way with the other members of the management team. You will be responsible for maximizing the client experience, and enhancing the talent management within the restaurant. You are willing to lead by example, be intellectually curious , strategic and be skilled at influencing others. Your strength in thought leadership , change management and collaborating with a team through ambiguity will be key to your success. Qualifications and Skills Preferred experience of Italian Wine Knowledge Minimum two (2+) years of experience in similar restaurant role with at least 1+ year of management experience Post-Secondary degree preferred Experience with fine dining required Experience in managing the beverage program, including wine, beer, and cocktails Established strong network in the Restaurant community Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills Proficiency with Restaurant Systems (Micros, OpenTable, 7rooms) and Office programs, i.e. Excel, Word. While not required Spanish or other language skills are considered a strong asset
