Roanoke Hospitality is looking for a Director of Sales and Catering to join our team at our new restaurant, 101 Club. 101 Club is located in the heart of Chicago's central business district in the Magnificent Mile. The menu reflects a melting pot of multicultural cuisines and rich histories of the Mediterranean, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. The vibrant bar showcases open-skylight views of the neighboring Willis Tower and the most iconic rooftop terrace patio and ground floor luxury 3-season patio We also feature a Sunday jazz brunch on the 20th floor. Job Description: The Sales and Catering Director develops and implements the local store sales and catering operations. They are responsible for the solicitation and implementation of all private dining and catering. They are accountable for meeting all sales and marketing quotas. In addition to supporting the marketing plan, this position is responsible for communicating and executing corporate marketing initiatives in their market. They also help aid operations as needed. They are the consummate brand ambassador and are the face of Roanoke Hospitality in their community. Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant Excellent English Verbal and Written Communication skills Develop and Maintain professional client relations Lift and carry heavy trays weighing up to 30 lbs. from the kitchen and bar to the dining room and vice versa Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, and carry. Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors. Work in space with variable ventilation, smoke, and extreme temperatures Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from customer and employee traffic while in the field.
