Hello! Do you love cold beer, tasty food, quirky humans, and being authentically you? Cheers! We do too! New Ridge Brewing Co. is a full-scale brewery and restaurant in the heart of Roxborough, PA. We brew classic, award-winning beer, cook up modern pub food with local ingredients, and have a pretty awesome bar stocked with PA wines and spirits. Aside from having great product, what makes New Ridge truly special is how we treat each other...staff, guests, vendors, strangers - everyone! New Ridge provides an approachable, genuine, humble, and beer-forward style of true hospitality to all. (Or at least we are trying really firkin hard to! That's a bad beer joke...) We have become a staple in our beautiful neighborhood, while pushing the envelope of creativity and excellence in our zip code. We are currently in search of a General Manager to join our team of lovely humans. The ideal candidate will be kind, upbeat, transparent, happy to get a little messy, and lead by example. Also, it helps if you really give a damn about doing a good job :) Please and thank you! JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Stay positive, resilient and approachable. Create and encourage genuine hospitality for all guests, staff, and vendors. Adheres to NRBC Code of Conduct (viewable on website). Leading FOH, BOH, MOD, and BREW team through: Coaching Accountability Clear communication Delegation Organization Inspiration (most importantly!) Maintain and exercise beer/beverage/culinary knowledge for yourself, staff, and guests. Be a team player! Pick up that French fry on the stairs!! Resolve potential guest conflicts/issues. POS/reservation/scheduling/software admin and upkeep. Ability to multitask and efficiently manage daily operations, administrative tasks, events, and R and M schedule. Manage hiring and disciplinary action. Work with and oversee head chef, head brewer, and bar manager on menu planning, calendar, reporting, goals/growth. Work w/ bookkeeper and owner on financial oversight, budgeting, and inventory management. Adheres to NRBC safety and sanitation guidelines. Upkeep and development of operational systems. Work w/ social media/graphics team to promote, market and brand NRBC. Maintains professional work relationships...while being nice! NRBC is a family that runs on respect and communication. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years in FT restaurant management experience High volume experience preferred Strong analytical ability Strong interpersonal skills Understanding of small business operations, HR, finance, licensing Detail oriented and organized Excellent written and oral communication/listening skills Effective conflict resolution skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays RAMP and ServSafe Certified Valid Driver's License Beer/brew knowledge preferred Toast POS system experience preferred Ability to meet physical demands of the position Demonstrates sound decision making Outstanding references
