Dematic is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to partner with the Contract Manager, Project Controller, Project Lead Engineer, and the project core team to translate the customers requirements into defined scope and tasks for the project and ensures they are completed on time, on budget, and in good quality. The base pay range for this role is estimated at $107 - $160 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What you will do in the role: * Accountable for all Customer communication, documentation, and deliverables (e.g. Functional Design Specification, drawings, Acceptance Test Plan, etc.) * Responsible for scheduling Contract Review team meeting with Contract Manager as part of the Project Kick-Off phase * Review, interpret, and manage the contract and any subsequent changes after sales turnover with the support and counsel of the Contract Manager * Partner with the Project Planner or Scheduler to create, communicate, and maintain the project plan/schedule utilizing established process, methods, and tools * Ensure smooth handover to Customer Service and the external Customer with clearly defined and agreed upon actions for project close-out. * Cooperate with the Site Manager and the EHS&S Group on the safety of people, systems, and environment as per company or legislative requirements. * Conduct project assessments, capture LL's, and prepare final close out reports * Accountable for project Risk and Opportunity management, including any risk mitigation strategies and actions with appropriate risk owners What you will need to have: * Exceptional customer focus and ability to deliver results * Demonstrated problem solver with excellent communication skills * Ability to navigate and operate in a highly matrixed global organization * Ability to apply influence on project team and functional departments to take actions to mitigate risks in scope, cost and schedule internally and externally. * Ability to take the initiative and ownership to make things happen for assigned projects Knowledge of the constraints and methods for defining and demonstrating equipment, subsystem, and system performance criteria. * Understanding of the dynamic handling characteristics, constraints, and risks associated with the wide range of materials handled within a complex material handling system. * Understanding and knowledge of various controls architectures, related controls levels, and the functionality of controls domains, inclusive of WMS and WCS integration. * Ability to develop detailed project schedules of all in-scope engineering, installation, and integration activities as well as explicit and implicit out-of-scope milestones by others (i.e. owners and general contractors) impacting project execution.
