Responsibilities In addition, you will: Inspect and repair company equipment, such as pickup trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, backhoes, compressors, and generators, in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. Perform road tests and operational checks of vehicles and equipment to ensure the quality of repairs and service. Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies, as required. Prepare and maintain records and reports. Monitor prioritized projects, activities, and assignments to ensure the completion of deadlines. Maintain tools, supplies, and workstations in a clean, safe and presentable manner. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day to day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You have a High School Diploma, or equivalent. You have a valid driver's license. You have knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics. Have knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures. Have the ability to do tune-ups, brake jobs (hydraulic), and basic wiring. You have basic diesel and drive train experience. Have the ability to use a cutting torch and basic welding skills. You have knowledge of minor heavy equipment repairs. You have good verbal communication skills. You have precise hand-eye coordination. You have clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships. Hard work pays off.
