Your Impact at SAM Assist in identifying marked utilities, structures and various control points on plans and maps and in the field Perform operator level maintenance on assigned company tools and equipment as required Assist in the implementation of approved traffic control plans Actively work toward obtaining the skills in the certification program required for advancement Efficient employment of assigned equipment to accurately record data of marked utilities, structures, and various control points in the field Operates vacuum truck and related tools and equipment such as a jackhammer, pogo-tamper, concrete saw, compressor blower, vacuum hose and air lance and hand tools Drives commercial motor vehicles What You Bring to SAM Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the company MVR requirements, clean background check and drug screening Ability to travel for extended periods of time Work outdoors under the full range of weather conditions typically experienced throughout all seasons of the year Ability to walk for extended periods over irregular terrain while carrying and/or employing any of the full range of surface geophysical and surveying equipment, the weight of such equipment is typically less than 30 lbs Pick up and carry equipment, tools or supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. for short distances and assist others to do the same.
