About the role Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities: * Support Reworld's commitment to Health and Safety including implementing the health and safety plan at Reworld facilities. * Provide guidance and leadership to plan, oversee, and direct commercial upgrade projects. * Develop execution strategies for capital projects. Lead project delivery teams of engineering, procurement, project controls and third-party contractors Lead project delivery teams of engineering, procurement, project controls and third-party contractors to complete projects safely, on-schedule, within budget, and with high quality. * Communicate and define the team's scope and objectives for each project phase. * Create, validate, and manage project scopes, schedules, action items, and estimates. * Report on project KPIs and metrics, including Schedule, Budget, Safety and Quality. * Ensure that Reworld SOP's, procedures, and plans are adhered to and meet company standards. * Validate that all capital project proposals are consistent with business strategy and the scope, investment, justification, and timing are reasonable and achievable. * Manage and control contractual commitments, project reviews and report-outs to maintain execution excellence. * Command responsible for project daily work scope and progress. * Initiate change management in a timely manner (e.g., change in scope of work, re-budgeting, or reduction in committed effort). * Maintain project budget Support estimating, provide labor rates, and review / sign off on project estimates. * Plan and coordinate resource management among internal stakeholders to assess satisfaction and cooperation. * Approve contractor scope, agreements, and related invoices. What You Bring: Requirements for Consideration: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management. * 10+ years of progressive engineering and project management experience required. * Proven success leading multi-disciplined project teams. * Strong math and budget management skills. * Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Preferred Qualifications: * 10+ years' experience in utility and/or EFW industry. * Project Management Professional certification (PMP) a plus. * Primavera P6 and MS Project experience a plus. Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Business acumen, particularly ability to understand key business strategic elements and translate those into capital plans. * Basic understanding of Energy from Waste (EFW) manufacturing and technology. * Strong communications skills, both verbal and written. * Experience working on and leading cross functional teams. * Expertise in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working Conditions: * The Project Manager will work in both an office setting and a field environment, spending up to 50% of working time at Reworld facilities to manage ongoing projects and outage/turnarounds. * A great deal of time may be spent standing and walking, and PM may frequently be exposed to the elements.
