Current Need We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA Position Description This position will be responsible for leading key initiatives identified by senior leadership to drive customer satisfaction. The position is responsible for the planning, project management oversight, and implementation of the project. This person will serve as the primary contact for Finance and will be responsible for communicating to all internal stakeholders. This position will also be responsible for developing and executing our continuous improvement strategy. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for developing and leading our continuous improvement strategy and building a continuous improvement culture in Finance. * Responsible for the initiation, documentation, elaboration, prioritization, tracking and implementation of projects and process changes based on extensive internal and external research, business requirements gathering, impact assessments and industry best practices. * Responsible for all communications related to the project. This includes the development and determination of format, frequency, material and audience of communications and presentation to the organization leveraging partnership with our Communications Manager * Responsible for preparing and developing project work breakdown structure and overall project plan. * Responsible for assisting project members in determining and/or defining the specific business needs and objectives within the project. * Responsible for assisting project members in the successful planning, development, and administration of specific project issues. This may require defining scope, estimating labor, technology and capital resources, scheduling resources and measuring and reporting performance. * Responsible for informing and assisting team members, company personnel and/or consulting personnel to promote the coordination and collaboration among project team members * Responsible for undertaking any special tasks requested by Senior Management as they relate to ongoing projects and preparation of future projects * Responsible for project documentation and administration, including monitoring the direction of the project as well as how implementation of the project will occur. Will assist in monitoring the budget, project cost-benefit analysis, scheduling, and resource allocation * Serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to others. Minimum Requirements * 7+ years of professional experience * 4-year degree * 7+ years' experience leading projects in a large, complex company * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to engage and influence people across the organization * Effective time management and multitasking skills Preferred Skills * Risk and planning analysis * PMP certification * Lean or six sigma certification Education * 4-year degree in business, leadership, or related field preferred Physical Requirements General Office Demands We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
