Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks on behalf of the Operations Management within the distribution center. 1. Provides basic clerical support to operations management including making copies, maintaining files, and calculating and completing a variety of production paperwork. 2. Communicates with various internal and external contacts to obtain, verify and communicate information for operations management. 3. Utilizes CRT, PC, Scanner or RF units to research and confirm production data for operations management. Communicates findings to Supervisor. 4. Prepares, analyzes and maintains a variety of daily and weekly reports. 5. Performs duties of a Material Handler as required. 6. Performs semi-routine duties where some judgment is required. Work is performed under defined and uniform procedures. 7. Maintains the integrity of our Mission, Vision and Values statement while performing daily job duties. 1. Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques and office equipment required. 2. Six months previous clerical experience is preferred. Previous PC based and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience required. 3. Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Software such as Excel and Word. 4. Working knowledge and understanding of Distribution Operations strongly preferred. 5. Ability to handle multiple tasks, be detail oriented and perform clerical duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision. 6. Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with all co-workers within immediate department, other DC departments and to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority. 7. Ability to perform physical activity at a sustained pace within a Distribution Center environment including walking, bending and lifting is required.
