Account Specialist What We Need Corpay wants to hire an Account Specialist within our NA Fuel division. This position falls under our Comdata line of business and is located in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will support all customer needs by supporting day-to-day client needs through inbound calls, outbound calls, emails, or other communication channels. Client loyalty is the primary focus and measure of success. Creating an easy, reliable customer experience that is mindful of the client's needs is the driving force behind our Fleet Advisors' creation of loyalty. Client loyalty will also be achieved through anticipating customer needs, responding quickly to requests, inquiries, and issues, and creating value by facilitating the best possible use of Corpay products and Services. This role is the client advocate for other departments, creating a single point of contact for complex issues and needs that require other department support. The Account Specialist creates value by recommending best practices and using Corpay products and services, including cross-selling leads and product offers. You will report directly to the Account Management Supervisor and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments. How We Work As an Account Specialist, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing: * Assigned workspace in Nashville office and home office set up * Company-issued equipment * Formal, hands-on training * Monthly home internet stipend Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: * Creating and maintaining client loyalty with client contacts who are sometimes diverse in terms of needs, professional skills, caller role, and experience * Being an expert in handling Corpay-specific products, systems, and processes * Proactively addressing and solving customer issues and inquiries with one-person, one-call resolution with full ownership and accountability * Tenacity is required for solving issues and answering inquiries, creating a simple customer experience that enables client loyalty * Proactively contacting clients at risk of service disruptions and quickly solving client needs before service disruption when possible * Proactively calling including planned and disruptive events designed to enable a simple and easy client experience, enabling client loyalty * The Account Specialist is responsible for activating Corpay products and services by being a trusted advisor * Recommending and convincing customers to follow best practices that will promote the best possible usage of Corpay products and services * Customer training by phone or web is required to help customers quickly implement Corpay products and services or educate new client users of Corpay products and services * Proactively researching and resolving credit inquiries and problems resulting from invoicing, cash application, credit reconciliation, moving lines of credit, credit increases, write-offs, and other customer issues related to credit * Tuning the account set-up and general product usage as needed to enable the best possible client value from Corpay Products and Services * ·Acting as the single point of contact for Corpay by representing all departments (Credit, RCS, Card Management ITS, etc.) Qualifications & Skills * A high school diploma or GED is required; some college is strongly desired. * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Successful candidates are reliable, have the will to serve others, * and demonstrate the ability to learn new products, services, and skills continuously. * Service-related experience is required, and proven Corpay experience in related Fleet Client support roles is strongly desired. * Basic computer skills that can type 30 wpm are strongly desired. * Customer-Driven-Customer Service is a competitive differentiator; as a result, this role must demonstrate exceptional Customer Care skills and provide exceptional customer service. * An effective Account Specialist III must deeply understand all Corpay products and services and articulate how they can best be used within the customer's operating environment. * Deliver genuine empathy when appropriate, demonstrating concern and care for clients. * Be able to quickly discover unexpressed internal and external customer needs and potential solutions to support those needs. * Be able to anticipate and proactively address internal and external customer needs independently.
