Overview MasTec Communications Group performs both wireline and wireless communication services on a national scale. Responsibilities As a Field Technician III, you are responsible for providing support in the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures. In addition, you will: In addition, you will: Must have experience as an equipment operator, concrete, asphalt patching, setting form boards Have a Valid Drivers License, CDL optional Clean and prepare the construction site for work, remove debris and possible hazards. Assist the tradesman to be able to complete their skilled task more effectively. Read and understand a customer detail plan Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner Adhere to all company and industry standards/regulations (OSHA, etc.) Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to fieldwork. Review peer work product Other duties as assigned Salary Range $26.00 - $34.00 / hour Benefits/Incentive Pay We offer competitive compensation for professional, skilled and hourly employees. Apply Now If interested, please apply: Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day to day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You have high school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred. 5 + years of general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience is highly preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results-oriented. Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle. Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with AT&T or Verizon Wireless Networks Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commissioning and Integration experience required Mobile Access Certification is a plus. Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers and aerial platform equipment. Ability to lead crews when the foreman is gone DC/AC electrical skills. Update equipment office records and installation specifications to document accurately "as built" Ability to work on ladders, demonstrated manual dexterity. Must be adaptable to changing environments. Must be able to pick up 50 lbs. and be cable of working up to 12 hours Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively Must be able to work out of the market or away from home as work demand Hard work pays off.
