Maintenance Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the overall functionality and safety of our facilities.Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify and address maintenance issuesPerform maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing defective equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC unitsCollaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance requestsRespond promptly to emergency maintenance requestsEnsure the proper functioning of all machinery and equipmentConduct preventive maintenance on a regular basisKeep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activitiesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAdhere to safety guidelines and protocolsExperience working on Low Voltage DC circuits and other electrical up to 120V ACExperience with pneumatic systems under 160 psiCapable of using a multi meter and similar testing devices to isolate and determine machine failuresLight machining history - part fabrication, drilling, tapping, threadingPrevious Preventative Maintenance experience with oiling, greasing, bearing replacementFamiliar with LOTO programs and usageRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Maintenance Associate or similar roleKnowledge of basic repair and maintenance tasksAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems efficientlyGood physical condition and staminaExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic knowledge of safety protocols and proceduresCertification in maintenance or related field is a plusLight machining experience - part fabrication, drilling, tapping, threadingPreventative Maintenance experience with oiling, greasing, bearing replacementSchedule (Day Shift Only):Monday-Thursday 7:00A-4:00PFriday 7:00A-11:00AOccasional Overtime Monday-Friday 6:00A-4:00P (when necessary)Occasional Saturdays may be required a few times a yearPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting or standingMust be able to lift up to 20 lbs at timesManual dexterity as needed to operate and utilize a variety of equipment and toolsBenefits:Same Day Pay AvailableEarn up to 2 weeks of PTO in your first yearHealth, prescription, vision, dental and life coverage with company match after 90 days Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability available after 90daysPaid holidays 401(K) Plan after 1 year with a 3% employer match Anniversary giftsContinual training and personal development opportunities Many opportunities for advancement and personal career growth Employee discount About Totally PromotionalTotally Promotional was founded in 1993 and is a leading online retailer and manufacturer of customized promotional products.
