About the role Demonstrates leadership in the area of safety. This requires observing and enforcing safety rules and practices, encouraging safe work behaviors, and promptly correcting conditions and unsafe behavior which may lead to accidents. Key responsibilities Responsible for ensuring equipment is available and online to meet production goals Troubleshoot and make repairs to existing plant equipment, install new equipment, and building maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. Maintain a positive attitude amidst unplanned events and a willingness to be flexible with work volume and type. Willingness to contribute to the greater plant as a liaison to safety, quality, engineering, or production programs. Qualifications and skills At least 3 years' experience in an industrial maintenance environment required. Prior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred. Experience troubleshooting and resolving more complex maintenance issues without direct oversight preferred.? D. SKILLS"ƒMechanical repair, general welding, ability to use hand tools, hand-held power tools, and basic computer skills Must have the ability to work alone and in close cooperation with production personnel.
