Maintenance Technician

Industrial MechanicProduction MechanicResponsibilities:* Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and electromechanical automated assembly machines * Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment utilizing CMMS program to accurately log works* Schedule work orders, report repairs and manage spare part and record maintenance.* Perform machine change overs and setups* Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.* Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.* Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.* Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, gases and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, forklifts, hoists, or dollies.Job RequirementsRequirements:* Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.* Good communication skills and ability to understand verbal and written instruction.* Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and work over equipment for long periods of time.* Ability to work and handle very small parts (.003 diameter)* Must be a good team player and have ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.* Must be able to work with hand tools and possibly run semi-automated machines.* Ability to learn and understand dimensions on drawings.
