Alphagary designs and manufactures specialty compounds for applications that are extruded or molded by our customers into a variety of end-products that we find in everyday life.We are looking for Maintenance Mechanics to join our growing team!You will: Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service. Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs. Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair on various equipment and building maintenance. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Safely operate forklift. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Eligible to work in the United States. Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen. Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environment. Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required. Experience operating forklift equipment. The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop. Work overtime as required.
