We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Maintenance Technician in Miami, FL (10min drive from MIA Airport).About DO & CO: We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. What you'll do: Keeps the event and airline catering equipment operational and repairs any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. Performs a wide range of repair tasks around the facility as instructed by Maintenance Manager and apply preventative measures to reduce the risk of future problem.Responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting and repairing of: HVAC, refrigeration, and A/C components, plumbing fixture and electrical circuits, cooking, food preparation and sanitation equipment incl. commercial dish washing machines. Maintain the general condition of the facility with regards to all aspects of the cooking and production machinery, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and painting work as needed. Maintain, inventory, and repair event catering equipment to include ovens, dishwashers, pot washer, mixers, portable power distribution, and other miscellaneous kitchen equipment at the direction of the maintenance manager or other maintenance plans. Work with a Computerized Maintenance Management System to create, view, monitor and respond to work orders generated within the system to complete work assignments on time and within specified dates. Complete general maintenance and construction tasks at the direction of the maintenance manager. Qualifications: Ability to work unaccompanied or under supervision. Punctuality and diligenceAbility to use a laptop & phone to communicate via emails and phone callsProficiency in reading and writingFlexibility in work hours & schedule (ability to be "on-call")Ability to work in a fast paced environment, heavy work load and standing for a prolonged period of time as necessaryAbility to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays) Low-Medium Voltage electrical repairElectronic TroubleshootingMechanical KnowledgeHVAC repair(preferred) Minimum of 2 years of work experience in general maintenance. Minimum 1 year electrical/electronic experience High School diploma preferred.
