Maintenance Technician

From feeding livestock high quality feeds to recovering plastics from packaging, we understand the goals of waste reduction and reuse.Position Summary:The maintenance technician is 101's key form of maintenance at 101 Inc.'s Pendleton facility. The primary responsibility of this person is to organize, maintain, clean and prevent expensive down time on all equipment at 101.The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively manage all maintenance items below in addition to special projects that may be required from time to time, both in terms of priority and scheduled time to complete. This position reports to the Facilities Maintenance Manager. RequirementsEssential Functions:1. Equipment maintenance : scheduled and unscheduled work on processing equipment, forklifts, manlifts, pumps, and stainless steel. 2. Facilities maintenance : scheduled and unscheduled work on 101 Pendleton buildings, mechanicals, outside tanks, and doors.3. Grounds maintenance : scheduled and unscheduled work on the lawn, trees, parking lots, drives, and sidewalksEssential Skills:1. Strong work ethic and integrity2. Experience welding, plasma cutting, torch3. Experience wiring, troubleshooting, plumbing, working with stainless steel4. Strong problem-solving skills5. Excellent communication skills: Outlook, PC, in person, written, etc.
