Account Representative

We are currently seeking a full-time Account Representative at our West Station (Millersville) Location. Account Representatives at Lancaster EMS are responsible for emergency, non-emergency, and contract billing; insurance verification, assisting with collections, posting payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be: * Experienced with Medicare and Medicaid billing * Knowledgeable with CMS regulations and guidelines * Dependable, detail oriented, and self-motivated * Able to read and understand Explanation of Benefits * Familiar with Navinet and Promise * Able to assist patients, either in person or over the phone, with payments, questions or issues * Confident and possess good communication skills (a must) * Bilingual (a plus, but not required) * Typing skills - 40+ wpm Qualifications include: * High School/College Diploma or G.E.D. * One year of medical billing experience or equivalent experience in a medical office Benefits include: medical/dental/vision; 176 hours of paid time off; 401 k with employer match; short and long-term disability; uniform allowance; flexible spending account; and educational opportunities.
