POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting required. MBA with corporate finance, FP&A or management concentration preferred. * 4 years in an FP&A or accounting role which includes analysis and budgeting experience required. Over 5 years of experience in an FP&A or accounting role which includes analysis and budgeting preferred. * Experience with corporate forecasting and modeling required. * FP&A experience focused on Technology and FP&A experience at an asset management firm preferred. * Proficiency using Essbase and Oracle Financials preferred. * Understanding of technology relating to the financial services industry to provide appropriate financial recommendations and guidance preferred. MAJOR DUTIES: The primary purpose of this position is to provide financial support on major Technology and Change Programs. Financial support includes but is not limited to construction and maintenance of Program financial models, Program/project multi-year financial forecasts, budgeting assistance, and overseeing the funding approval process for expenditures within these Programs. * Collaborate with Project and Change Managers to develop Program financial models which provide input on actual and projected cash flow and expense impact by Program/project, by year. * In collaboration with the Sr. Manager, FP&A, advise the CIO, Global Head of Enterprise Delivery and project and change managers on the financial impact of proposed changes to projects. * Participate in team meetings/steering committees related to respective projects. * Develop high level financial summaries to be included in Executive Staff and Technology Investment Committee presentation materials. * Use the projected financial information on Programs/projects to contribute to the budget process. * Advise on cost effective alternatives to proposals. * Ensure that project costs are allocated for accounting and tax purposes to the appropriate company. Lead discussions to help the business determine these allocations and document the basis for allocations. * Work with Accounting Policy to assist with the proper application of capitalization policies.
