We are looking for a Field Service Manager to join the US team in Teaneck, New Jersey. This role is part of the Customer and Dealership Relations department and will focus on leading a team of 7 technical software and hardware field service engineers. A day in the life and how you'll make an impact: * Training and leading a team of Technical Tier 2 Engineers and HW Field Service Engineers * Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements * Manage the team's workload and prioritize tasks * Mentor and support team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment * Analyze software and hardware needs for the organization * Own, manage and optimize the support ticketing system * Lead department logistics for shipments, travel and coordinations * Oversees and facilitates the replacement of hardware for systems * Identifies and recommends upgrades and changes to hardware and software, maintaining efficient and effective operations in the organization * Facilitates and oversees the technical support and helpdesk roles, ensuring effective and helpful support is provided to end users * Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in information technology, alerting senior staff of the effects widespread software and hardware revisions, changes, and discontinuation will have on the organizations systems and operations * Facilitates SW and HW testing needs for R&D * Ensures IS-related projects and tasks are completed within specifications, on time, and within budget * Owns system's reliability * Performs other duties as assigned Requirements * Minimum 3 years of managerial experience * General HW/SW background with familiarity with Linux, electrical, Networking, sensors etc. * Extensive experience and familiarity with support ticketing systems (Zendesk/Freshdesk/Kustomer etc.) * Strong written and verbal communication skills * A methodical approach to tasks with extreme attention to detail * Problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside of the box * Ability to travel to customer sites 1-2 days a week Ideally, we're looking for: * Certification in Linux. * Bachelor's degree in a technical field. * Experience with startup companies.
