CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Infrastructure - Water/Wastewater Team at our office in Winter Springs, FL; Winter Haven, FL; or Tampa, FL. YOUR IMPACT Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community's well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance. The Project Manager conducts the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, our Project Manager works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements. The Project Manager monitors progress and performance against the project plan and acts immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays, as well as recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results, and makes appropriate corrections. The professional in this role identifies, develops, and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments. This individual completes field assignments when appropriate. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required * Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required * Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred * Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience is required * Experience in managing the execution of utility (water, wastewater, reclaimed water) and utility master planning projects * Experience in developing and negotiating scopes and fees with clients * Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the respective engineering field as well as proven ability to practically apply it in a professional environment * Understands QA/QC procedures * Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences * Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff * Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required * Participation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $92,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
