Job Description: The Department of Urban Horticulture and Design at Farmingdale State College is searching for Adjunct Assistant Professors to teach new online-only classes for the Certificate in Cannabis Production and Management, to begin in Fall 2021. It is required that candidates possess a broad-based understanding of plant science with a focus on cannabis biology and production systems for hemp. It is preferred that candidates possess extensive previous and current professional experience in this specialized field. The college particularly welcomes candidates with knowledge, skills and abilities that include: * Commitment to diversity and university initiatives supportive of diversity and inclusion. * Interest in participating in student-centered service activities. * Desire to apply expertise in promoting civic engagement with the College's many community partners. Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's-level degree in horticulture or related field, or Bachelor's-level degree with extensive professional experience in the field of cannabis production and management.
