Enhanced Custody is a prime brokerage alternative that combines core custody product with a principal-based securities lending and financing offering. The business is now expanding the product suite to include Equity Swaps, and seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to manage the integration of an equity swaps platform. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on a brand new business and drive the programme. It is essential the candidate has strong, end-to-end Project Management experience working on large complex end to end trading platform integration projects with multiple vendor systems and internal teams. Experience of equities, equity derivatives, securities lending, infrastructure projects (e.g. connectivity to external systems and organizations: SSL, FIX, MQ) is desirable. Experience of Sophis would be a plus. The candidate will be responsible for working with external vendors and internal teams to manage/coordinate and influence a cross functional business and IT group of resources to deliver integration of the equity derivative trading platform. Some travel to London may be required. Duties * As well as managing a complex implementation plan across multiple work-streams and teams, you will be responsible for delivering the software in time and to budget where feasibly possible. Forecasting resource allocation and budget. * Status reporting to senior management and stakeholders/chairing project team meetings and coordinating various external vendors and teams and deliverables. * Reviewing external vendor and external team project plans and ensuring the core integration plan is synced. * Work with the vendor/internal IT teams to manage change requests arising as the project progresses, raise and track issues and risks. * Matrix oversight of local BA,QA, vendor and development teams * Management of infrastructure related aspects of the implementation (FX connectivity, leased lines, MQ setup, hardware procurement, environment testing e.g. DR, code release processes, adhering to security standards and processes etc). Essential knowledge/experience * Experience in structured project management and be able to implement a framework for which to deliver large projects within. * Professional Project Management Qualifications e.g. PMP * Experience of integration large front to back banking project with a finance/trading focus (preferably equities/derivatives). * Experience of infrastructure related aspects of delivering a large integration project (getting leased lines setup, FIX connectivity. * Experience of working with external vendors/vendor systems and hosted solutions. Desirable * Experience of Sophis. * Exposure to regulatory reporting (Dodd Frank/EMIR/Volker) * Equity Derivatives / Equity Swaps exposure This is a must
