Belmark is seeking Rewind Operator/Shipping Technicians to run our world class equipment to produce a high quality product in a timely fashion for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for Rewind labels from press rolls to smaller rolls according to customer specifications. Inspect labels for accepted quality and complete the appropriate paperwork. May also be required to bundle labels or tags, or fanfold labels. Also, you will be responsible for packaging, labeling and staging printed products in a timely manner in order to meet customer needs. Close communication with Account Service and Rewind Department personnel is important. Responsible for arranging orders requiring special carrier pick up. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our operators/shipping technicians are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company. Schedule: * 3rd shift hours are from 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., Sunday, 12:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday * 3rd shift works 36 hours but gets paid for 40 Pay: * $21.00 - $24 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed. * The shift differential for 3rd shift is $2.00 more per hour What will I do in this role? * Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements. * Set up rewind machine. * Calculate the number of labels needed per roll or bundle. * Rewind labels according to the job instructions. Individual output must at least meet the set minimum operating standards. * Inspect for and remove defective labels. * Identify product with accurate information. * Complete the necessary paperwork including packing slips. * Keep work area and machine clean and organized. * May bundle labels or tags. * May fanfold labels * Responsible to package printed product and process all orders by scheduled ship dates. Must be able to multitask and succeed in a fast paced work environment. * High level attention to detail is needed to ensure all printed product packaging specifications are followed and completed accurately. * Must be able to effectively communicate with Account Service and Rewind Department personnel in order to meet daily shipment deadlines. * Will work with third party logistic software systems in order to determine the best and most economical shipping method that will meet customer needs. * Must be able to provide accurate job order data entry and be able to use Federal Express/UPS software systems * May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. (Example: lifting box of labels on to and off of the scale approximately 6 ft.) * May be asked to lift up to 70 pounds or more.
