Job DescriptionJob DescriptionUnder limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and semiskilled tasks involving general maintenance and/or repair of client facilities, equipment and grounds.ResponsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities:Maintenance - Drywall repair, painting, plumbing and minor carpentry.Operates power tools and site mobile equipment - forklift and aerial liftTraining for job duties provided by company as requiredHigh school diploma or GED requiredClean driving recordStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environmentAbility to handle multiple projects with a minimum of directionSome knowledge of computers preferredSound judgement and a high level of work ethicMust have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job dutiesPerforms all work in accordance with company safety proceduresOperates power tools and site mobile equipmentWe encourage diverse candidates to apply.QualificationsHigh School Diploma, or GED1 year previous facilities maintenance/janitorial/ engineering experience (preferred)Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes and handbooks (preferred)Ability to use various testing devices related to the mechanical trades (preferred)Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environmentAbility to handle multiple projectsSome knowledge of computers (preferred)Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.Salary: $15/hr. - $16/hr.The hourly rate is between $.15.00 and $16.00per hour, and the anticipated annual base compensation range for this position will be $31,200- $33,280 inclusive of required overtimeWorking Conditions: Work performed both inside and outside, sometimes during inclement weather.Note: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
