This person is responsible for providing on-site installation, repair, and maintenance services to clients. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving adhesive and sealant dispensing equipment issues. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver who can deliver efficient, high-quality service while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.You must live a commutable distance from the Grand Rapids, MI. area to be considered for this position. This position does require travel. Key Responsibilities: Travel to customers to support technical and sales reviews, training seminars, demonstrations, and product/process troubleshooting. Installation of adhesive equipment at customer locations. Technical liaison between customers and the Applied team. Make product suggestions and process improvement recommendations to customers. Document service reports into ServiceMax.You Are Ideal for This Role If You: Have a bias for action and like to take initiative. Are a team-player, but also work well independently. Enjoys troubleshooting and working with your hands. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Ability to handle objects weighing up to 25 lbs. and on occasion may be expected to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.Experience and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certifications preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, and proven experience installing and maintaining equipment at customer locations is required. Ability to diagnose issues quickly and find practical solutions under pressure. Clear and effective communicator with both clients and internal teams, and strong focus on client satisfaction and professional interaction. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and complete jobs efficiently. Willingness to travel to various client locations and adapt to changing work environments. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.
