Job Responsibilities:Ensure that operators are running to the dispatch list (work with scheduling to minimize set-ups)Check and account for every part produced and materials consumed to make those parts are accountable to every operation on every work order Ensure that all documentation (QAR's, job travelers, MRB tags, etc) are filled out properly and completely at end of shiftProvide interpretation and direction for department standards, customer standards and specifications, and internal standards and proceduresNotify scheduling and maintenance when a machine goes downProcess inspection, certification and documentationHold employees accountable for safety, quality and production quotas Ensure employee time and attendance are recorded properly to ensure compliance with company policyMake conscience efforts to prevent injuries and dangerous situations; report and document any accidents or near misses to the safety officer Other duties as assignedJob Qualifications (Required)At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)2+ years Supervisory experienceWorking knowledge in welding field and holding welding certifications in the past. (MIG or TIG)Ability to read welding symbols and printsWorking knowledge of US standard units of measurement, as well as metric.Computer proficiencyJob Qualifications (Preferred):Previous manufacturing experience preferred (all locations)Physical Requirements of the Job:Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per dayAble to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per dayAble to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environmentFrequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbsAble to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materialsReliable to come to work every day and be on-timeFlexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends6am-2:30pmMonday-Friday
