Irrigation Specialist I

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all campus irrigation systems. It will work as part of a team to accomplish goals and objectives. This is an essential position that will be called upon in the event of an emergency and/or university closure. Duties may include: * Perform routine and preventative maintenance of systems, tools, equipment and vehicles * Help locate irrigation lines, sprinkler heads and valves * Coordinate with various trade groups and contractors as needed * Train or supervise the work of seasonal help * Other duties as assigned
