Role Objectives & Responsibilities The Maintenance Tech's responsibilities include assisting in the maintenance of the physical condition of the property according to company operating and safety standards. * Performs basic and intermediate repairs and maintenance tasks on residential properties * Supports inspection work and in-market support for Property Management and Legal * Addresses plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues in residential homes under limited supervision * Assists more senior technicians or specialists in more complex repairs and projects * Learns and applies skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving * Reports inspection findings and other maintenance work using corporate tools, according to policy and procedure * Completes work and repairs to quality standard * Communicates with residents, and internal and external customers professionally and courteously both in person and through digital communication * Escalates concerns according to procedure, where appropriate * Actively participates in training programs and exhibits a strong willingness to enhance technical skill set * Seeks guidance, feedback, and learning opportunities from more senior technicians and leaders * Adheres strictly to safety programs, protocols, and guidelines * Adheres to all fleet and driving policies * Ability to work independently, and as a collaborative and positive member of a team * Maintains vehicle inventory of tools and supplies * Manages time effectively to meet deadlines * Completes and documents work in technology tools and systems with all work types dispatched * Performs work according to the schedule, and within productivity standards * Adheres to all purchasing and authorized buyer policies and procedures.
