The Project Manager will facilitate the implementation of the DOL Critical Sector Job Quality planning grant. This will include operationalizing the goals set forth in the grant and ensuring all activities are completed within the established timeline and budget. This position is grant funded with a project end date of March 31, 2025. The schedule for this role is varied and will not exceed 30 hours in a week. Essential Functions: * Lead the implementation of all project activities including providing administrative support for logistical details, collecting and managing data, supervising on-site and off-site event details, and ensuring communication across multiple platforms occurs seamlessly. * Oversee contractors and ensure that appropriate data is available to inform programming. * Represent the program at university, local, and/or state-wide functions. * Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards. * Prepare formative and summative reports on projected outcomes, risks, and opportunities * Present program updates at Advisory Board meetings and for other stakeholders as needed. People Supervised: Student staff working as interns. Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality or a related field, preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in higher education, program development, teaching or guest services. Experience with identifying and serving the needs of historically marginalized groups, as well as an understanding of their affective, cognitive, and social needs. Experience with event planning preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills and Abilities: * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with people of all constituent groups. * Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated computer and technology skills to include web and internet navigation, Microsoft office. * Must be highly detail-oriented and possess the ability to work efficiently and effectively within deadlines. * Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and supervise student interns.
