The Facility Supervisor will support the Sports Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the indoor sports complex, Elevate CNY. This role involves ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, managing staff, maintaining the facility, and promoting the complex to drive business growth. The Supervisor will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and energetic environment for all guests and employees. They will promote the philosophy and mission of the agency by performing the following duties.Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Responsible for processing daily revenue reports and reconciling them with sales management software. Prepare financial summaries for management review and assist in tracking financial performance metrics.Accounts Receivable & Payable: Assist in managing invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions, monitor outstanding receivables, and assist with payment processing to vendors.Budgeting & Expense Monitoring: Support the finance team in preparing and monitoring budgets. Track expenses, analyze variances, and assist in optimizing resources to maximize profitability.Operational Financial Support: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that financial data related to event scheduling, inventory, and staffing is accurate and up-to-date. Provide insights to improve financial efficiencies.Staff Supervision: Will be responsible for the weekly scheduling of employees to adequately staff the facility to maximum efficiency. Will assist the facility manager in allocating the staff to various roles each day.Inventory & Resource Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and managing the financial aspects of supply ordering. Ensure proper record-keeping of asset purchases and equipment maintenance costs.Financial Compliance & Audits: Ensure that all financial operations comply with company policies and legal regulations. Assist in internal audits and provide financial documentation as needed.Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed financial reports on sales, accounts receivable, and operational performance. Work closely with management to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.Support for Event Coordination: Provide financial support for events, tournaments, and programming, including tracking revenues, expenses, and profitability of each event. Also work with Manager on marketing events.Other Duties: Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned, on an as needed basis.Education/Experience:Minimum Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Therapeutic Recreation, Human Services or related field preferred.A minimum of two years' experience in the sports, fitness, recreation industry (or related field). An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role or capacity preferred.Experience in an indoor sports or recreation facility preferred.Knowledge of local sports leagues and community organizations is preferred Active involvement in sports or fitness activities is a plus.Seeking candidates with the following skills: strong leadership and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Must have the ability to work flexible hours, which include evenings, weekends and holidays.A valid NYS Driver's License is required.
