This work model is offered as required only.Job Description:The Department of the Air Force Strategy Coordination Cell (DAF SC2) Space Influence and Activity SME plays a key role in overseeing the application of space-oriented influence activities and intelligence throughout SC2 focus areas. The role includes identifying potential risks, developing protocols to reduce or manage those risks, and making recommendations that support Space Force (SF) decision-makers' ability to act and avoid or mitigate strategic risks as it relates to the space domain.Responsibilities:The DAF SC2 Space Influence and Activity SME identifies courses of action for operating in the information environment (OIE) as well as intelligence requirements. The Influence and Activity SME is essential to strategic and operational planning and execution, analyzing data, coordinating with other services and organizations, and determining the capabilities and vulnerabilities of an adversary. Duties:* Lead and perform planning of influence and intelligence activities across the full range of military operations* Develop OIE and intelligence plans, and assessment methodologies* Produce influence activity and intelligence analysis.* Collaborate other commands, services, activities, and/or organizations to accomplish DAF SC2 organizational goals* Integrate influence activities and intelligence into strategic and operational planning* Provide information operations (IO), operations security (OPSEC), military deception (MILDEC), Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Sensitive Activities (SA), Counter Intelligence (CI), Identity Management (IdM), competitive activities planning, and strategic engagement initiatives planning SME support to the staffing and development of concepts, strategies, policies, capability development documents, assessments, and program funding requests for the DAF SC2Other Duties: Duties, responsibilities, and activities can change at any time based on project requirements. These changes will be communicated by your supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Clearance Required: TS/SCI eligible w/ CI polygraph. Currently possessing TS/SCI preferred. Experience Required: 3 Years minimum supporting senior headquarters positions (required); over 5 years' experience (preferred). Combatant Command, Joint Staff, Air and/or Space Staff, Major Command and/or Field Command, staff officer/planning experience preferred.Education: Bachelor's degree (required) in sciences, humanities, social sciences, structured analysis, engineering or mathematics (preferred). Master's degree (preferred). Certification: Joint Qualified Officer (JQO), graduate of USAF or USN Weapons Schools, or equivalent experience preferred.Clearance Required:Applicants must have at least an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a clearance at the TS/SCI level. Preference will be given to those who have an active TS/SCI clearance. Applicants must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hiring.
