POSITION SUMMARY:Provides corrective and emergency repair to ensure safety and comfort; Installs, maintains, tests, services and repairs all refrigeration, heating, cooling and air conditioning systems and equipment including boilers; installs, maintains, tests, services and repairs all electrical systems and equipment of Southeastern Health.# .########## # EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS , TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:############################################################################# Minimum Required:High school diploma or equivalent.# Completion of 2 year vocational training curriculum for HVAC - R or Electrical Engineering and minimum of 5 years work experience in a commercial setting; Also requires knowledge of boiler and control systems; Working knowledge of building and safety codes; Ability to read and interpret code specifications, diagrams, sketches and operation manuals, know how to use e-mail and understand basic computer logic; Valid NC Driver#s License. # # Preferred:#Above and licensed as a HVAC Technician or Electrician by the NC Department of Labor. # ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication during interaction with others.# Incumbent must demonstrate competence in the use of equipment and application of procedures before being allowed to perform independently.## POSITION SUMMARY:Provides corrective and emergency repair to ensure safety and comfort; Installs, maintains, tests, services and repairs all refrigeration, heating, cooling and air conditioning systems and equipment including boilers; installs, maintains, tests, services and repairs all electrical systems and equipment of Southeastern Health. .
