ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Independent execution of preventive & corrective maintenance at the customer's site. * Installation & commissioning of metrology systems, probe systems and metrological accessories, including final acceptance and release of complete products and assemblies according to test and acceptance regulations * Preparation of commissioning protocols and acceptance reports * Technical training and instruction of FormFactor Field Service Engineers and customers * Troubleshooting and repair of our equipment both as telephone support and at the customer's site * Implementation and monitoring of technical escalations * Professional customer communication * Responsible for timely processing, documentation, invoicing and control of work orders, customer orders and service calls according to FormFactor guidelines * Actively collaborate with other FormFactor departments to ensure continuous improvement of products * Regular participation in qualification measures * Adherence to all health and safety requirements both internally and during customer service calls EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED * Engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or similar * At least 5 years of experience in a similar field of activity is typically required * Detail-oriented work and strong problem-solving skills * Accuracy, punctuality, good team and interpersonal skills * Good communication skills in English both verbally and in writing * Good knowledge of common MS Office applications * Willingness to travel required This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an FFI office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. FFI can employ in states where we have registered entities. The pay range for this role is between $71,900 and $94,400 and is dependent on the work location of the candidate selected. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
