Maintenance Technician

Offering a fun and inclusive work environment, you'll know that you're doing work that matters-helping people bring their best vision to life.Under general supervision, perform tasks to ensure proper maintenance of all lab equipment and facilities.Perform department tasks, including one or more of the following:Diagnoses, repairs, and rebuilds Surfacing, Finishing and AR Coating equipmentPerform scheduled maintenance on laboratory equipmentDisassemble, clean, and rebuild specialized laboratory machineryPerform online equipment repairsPerform machinery preventive maintenance activities as prescribed by the manufacturerResponsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as neededMaintain equipment maintenance recordsAssist with a variety of facility and departmental process improvement projectsTroubleshoot a wide variety of computer-controlled automation equipmentPerform building infrastructure maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, painting, and general facility upkeepJob SpecificationsTypically has the following skills or abilities:Two to four years of experience in factory equipment maintenanceDemonstrated experience and familiarity with fluid power, mechanical, and thermal system experienceExperience in troubleshooting electrical, electronic and motor control systems, including the use of electrical diagnostic equipment and the ability to read system schematics and drawingsManage and process service requests using the adopted software ticket system (e.g. FIXX-CMMS)Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot automation control computers, PLCs and networksFamiliarity with office computer systems hardware and software, including MS OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team setting with a Customer-Centric MindsetFamiliarity with safety and health requirements relating to maintenance activitiesAble to lift 40-50 pounds unassisted, stand up to 100% of the time, and perform physical activities requiring bending, kneeling, pushing and pullingExperience with Lockout / Tagout proceduresAbility to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasksGood manual dexterity and hand/eye coordinationWork Location:5607 Johns RdTampa, FL#LI-ONSITE#LI-VISIONCARESalary Range: $22.00 - $28.00Compensation range for the role is listed above. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
