3rd Shift Production Supervisor (job description) We have partnered with a Global Industry Leading Printing and Packaging Company in the Cincinnati OH Area to lead a search for their 3rd Shift Production Supervisor.Position Description: • Manage Finishing/Gluing team members during shift.• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department's shift, including Safety, Product Quality, Material Waste, and Labor.• Also, involved in Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Capital Investment, and Organizational Development• 30 direct reports to this Supervisor's shiftPrimary Responsibilities: • Operational responsibility for the department.• Directs and leads the department to meet objectives.• Responsible for operating cost of the shift.• Supervises associates and others in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.• Manage and implement safety initiatives.• Ensure quality standards are being met.• Create a culture which encourages participation, innovation and process improvement. Foster an environment of commitment and teamwork.• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.• Instill a culture of openness, honesty, integrity through solid associate relation practices and communication.Key Performance Metrics: • Spoilage• Labor• Safety• Operating Budget• CCN (Target - internal / external)• Inventory (accuracy > 99%)• Review each of the above as information made available (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).• Develop action plans to improve moving forward. MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT: • 8 color flexographic wide web printing press.• 7.5-ton overhead crane.• Core baler.• Safety knife• Basic hand toolsShift• 3rd Shift - 11pm to 7am
