Job Overview: The EPMO Project Manager- Strategic Business Process works to provide project management support, governance, reporting, and leadership. They will work closely with strategic business leadership and business partners to align projects with company-wide strategic goals. In this manager-level role, applicants are expected to have the skills and interest to deliver daily project work, including but not limited to the details specified here as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate is a versatile project manager adept at tailoring project management approaches to suit each project's unique requirements, the project team's capabilities, the organizational culture, and the needs of stakeholders. This adaptability, along with strong problem-solving skills, is a key factor in the successful delivery of our projects. This role is responsible for the success of one or more projects within a given timeline and budget. It includes scoping, requirements gathering, resource planning, coordination across multiple stakeholders, communicating with the project team(s), creation and maintenance of status reports, updating project plans, proactively managing issues and risks, working with third-party partners (when required), managing teams of disparate, diverse backgrounds and capabilities, and financial/budgeting activities. Effective outcomes require seeing the big picture, meeting customer requirements, both internal and external, and delivering on project milestones and expectations utilizing EPMO processes and methodologies and applying best practices. Required: Based in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. Manage and deliver projects from intake throughout the required project stages to delivery and closure. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication between stakeholders. Manage expectations and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Resource Allocation: Determine and define project scope and objectives. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently. Track project performance to ensure the successful completion of short and long-term goals. Track project to keep the finances and resource allocation within the budget Risk Management: Proactive: Ability to identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies. Partner with leadership teams to overcome challenges. Analytical: Capability to assess the impact of risks and make informed decisions to minimize project disruption. Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet the highest quality standards and align with organizational goals and success criteria. Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress. Maintain comprehensive project documentation. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. Process Improvement: Develop and implement best practices, techniques, and tools for project management and execution. Continuously seek to improve project management methodologies and processes and apply lessons learned to inform future initiatives. Required Qualifications: Knowledge, skills, and abilities commonly acquired through completing a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in computer science, business management, project management, or a related field of study. PMP or Project Management Certifications is a plus. Five years of experience in a project management role. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and will not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future. This hybrid role requires the candidate to live in the Greater Cincinnati, OH area and work on-site 2-3 days per week. Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing project requirements and organizational dynamics. Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure and during periods of change. Technical Proficiency: Competence in using project management tools and software (e.g., Planview, Workfront). Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK). Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications. Collaboration: Team Player: Ability to work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams. Proficiency in building and maintaining professional relationships. Possess the capacity to instill trust and stand by it with integrity. Customer Focus: Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of stakeholders and clients. Strong dedication to delivering high-quality results that exceed customer expectations. Financial acumen: Managing project budgets effectively, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
