Title: Maintenance TechnicianReports to: Maintenance ManagerLocation: San Leandro, CAPosition Summary:The Maintenance Technician position requires candidates that are flexible, have a sense of urgency, and can prioritize quickly based on business needs. This is a great opportunity for candidates that are seeking job variety and growing challenges for continuous improvement in preventative maintenance; all while working within a safe and productive environment.Job Responsibilities:Responsible to complete preventative maintenance routinesFocus on equipment repairs in a timely and safe mannerInvolved with projects that involve the installation of new equipment and designAssist with process automationAssist with process improvement of packaging, brewing, and facility processesAssist in developing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and help develop future maintenance programsResponsible for parts procurement work and detailWeekly cleaning and keeping maintenance areas organizedFlexible to work rotating shifts that may include evenings and weekend work based on business needsRequirementsJob Requirements:Prior experience in Brewing, Beverage, Dairy or other Food Processing Industries in Maintenance is preferredFlexible schedule; ability to work OT, weekend shifts as neededIndustrial electrical experienceMetal fabrication experience (Mig, Tig, Roller, brake, shear, lathe, mill)Troubleshooting skills within a fast-paced environmentManufacturing mechanical skillsGeneral electrical wiring skillsKnowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)Valid California Driver's License is requiredThe following skills are considered a plus:Experience with PLC automation and instrumentationCommercial brewing and packaging processesKnowledge of local and national building codesRebuilding of motors and pumpsPneumatics and HydraulicsExperience with power transmissionKnowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code)Welding experienceAir compressor maintenanceHVAC and refrigerationBoiler maintenanceKnowledge of 5S practices (sort, straighten, shine, standardize and sustain)21st Amendment Employment Perks:Competitive WagesVacation, Sick & Holiday PayBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life AD&D, Voluntary Life AD&D, LTDPrescription Drug Program OptionsEAP (Employee Assistance Program)401K Program Job Growth & TrainingAnd of Course....A Monthly Beer Allowance & other perks!Interested Yet?
