Servers

Friendly, helpful and attractive in style and demeanor. Must be able to "sell the product" and work with grace under pressure. Complete knowledge of the menu is a must. Must be able to learn computer entry system. This is not a job for someone who is slow to react. Waitstaff experience is helpful but not necessary if attitude and ability to learn is apparent. Skills & Requirements It is the server's job to guide the guest through the menu, making suggestions whenever possible. Servers are responsible for ringing in orders correctly, delivering the food and the check, making correct change, inputting credit card charges, and insuring the satisfaction of our guests. Servers are expected to pre-bus tables as they work and make sure that tea and coke glasses are being refilled. At the end of their shift, servers are asked to reconcile their server report with their bank. Servers are expected to perform a number of sidework tasks, including cleaning, replenishing and some food prep. Some of these tasks are done weekly, others each shift. The work is assigned by station or day of the week. Qualifications
