With a global presence and 870 employees, we deliver top-quality solutions in cheese production and packaging.Position Overview: We are seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize cheese-making machinery. Your expertise will ensure operational efficiency and uphold quality standards in our clients' manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Conduct service interventions and installations at customer sites in North America and Canada.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.Provide emergency support and remote assistance to clients.Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance.Train production staff on equipment maintenance and safety procedures.Identify opportunities for process improvements.Candidate Profile:Education: Trades apprenticeship or college degree in a related field, plus 3+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ years of experience in lieu of formal education).Experience: Mechanical and basic electrical expertise in industrial equipment (food, chemical, or similar sectors).Certifications: OSHA 10 or 40 preferred; strong safety awareness is essential.Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing machinery; familiarity with PLCs is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks.Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel extensively.Why Join Us?
