Talascend is currently seeking a Customer Support Specialist for a contract opportunity in Shreveport, LA. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. REQUIREMENTS: May require an associate degree in a related area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. TOP 3-5 MUST HAVE SKILLS: 3+ years of IT experience with increasing technical and operational responsibilities 3+ years of experience supporting IT Infrastructure, Desktop and Site based IT Services 3+ years of experience working with contracting, managed service and third parties (internal and external) 3+ years of experience working in large enterprise IT environment supporting the design, development, and deployment of large enterprise IT projects. 3+ years of experience managing and support IT sites and providing service at the in environments with greater than 1,000 end-users We thank all applicants for their interest.
