Robert Bosch Automotive Steering LLC is growing in the market and continues to innovate and develop new products to meet customer needs. **Job Description** **3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Monday - Friday** * **Note** : Supervisor is expected to adjust schedule to ensure proper shift change communication at the beginning and end of the shift (come in a few minutes before shift starts and stay a few minutes after shift ends) Primary responsibility is to provide supervision, guidance and support to all Rack Bar team leaders and operators ensuring operations efficiency to meet production targets. Must have SAP(POE) experience and be able to support the production floor in resolving issues and teaching offers how to fix the problems. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + Enforce/improve standards of safety and ergonomics, quality, productivity, and housekeeping with respect to 5S standards. All aspects of production are to be driven by lean manufacturing principles of predictability, organization, and efficiency improvement (through the elimination of waste). + Allocate labor in response to fluctuating orders; set priorities for production. + Guide labor by enforcing the handbook policies (i.e. absenteeism, standards of conduct, discipline, etc.). + Guide teams in productive recordkeeping of scrap, traceability, downtime, rejects, and required control plan checks. + Ensure proper handling of non-conforming material. + Immediately inform appropriate personnel of issues including downtime, quality, component quality, and availability that are an obstacle to production. Must be able to develop an alternative strategy to overcome obstacles. + Cooperate with other shifts to satisfy weekly production goals. + Ensure adequate training of production operators to allow for flexibility in labor allocation to meet production goals + Support maintenance of training records and matrix for assembly lines + Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety policies + Conduct regular audits (Quality- LPA, Work Station, 5S, Operator, etc.) **Qualifications** **Hours** : Willing to work the required 3rd Shift Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Monday - Friday + Supervisor must be willing to adjust schedule to ensure proper shift change communication at the beginning and end of shift (come in a few minutes before shift starts and stay a few minutes after shift ends) **Education** : Bachelor's Degree **Experience:** 1-3 years related experience or training. + Experience in areas of manufacturing operations or continuous improvement. + Must have experience using SAP (POE) + Must have basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and capable of learning additional programs (Test, Measuring Software, KPI). **NOTE** : Other combinations of education and experience may be considered if experience is directly related to supervision in a Manufacturing environment. **Additional Information** **Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
