Project Manager, $90,000 - $120,000 yearly Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Remote Position Earn 2 weeks of vacation after 90 days of employment Come and experience the difference with R+L Carriers R+L Carriers Information Technology Department has an immediate opening for a Project Manager at our Wilmington, OH Service Center. The successful candidate will work within the Information Technology Department managing the scope, schedule, and cost for the development of world-class enterprise applications in support of R+L's leadership in the transportation and logistics industry. The candidate will be a key member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the company's enterprise software development initiatives working with business stakeholders to understand real world business requirements and to design and develop related enterprise level solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide general project management support which includes: developing and maintaining work breakdown structures, developing and maintaining project schedules, managing the requirements definition process, interfacing with technology subject matter experts, managing projects to their on-time completion, within budget and meeting quality standards. * Develop business requirements specifications. * Work with development managers to obtain estimates. * Facilitate requirements review meetings with the project team and business stakeholders. * Conduct status meetings and perform risk assessments, tracking action items and provide reporting needed by the Program Management Office. * Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure high quality and on-time delivery of projects. * Work with Business Stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are clearly defined, that regular customer communications take place and that the customer is engaged in the project. * Work with Quality Management to verify that sufficient test plans have been generated. * Continually work with Business Stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications * Experience managing software development projects using a project management methodology (i.e. Agile, PMI or PRINCE2). * Experience in Logistics/Freight Management * Demonstrated leader of people, able to earn confidence of others quickly, exhibiting credibility through his/her actions and interactions with others, is committed to team building and must be a good coach and mentor to staff. * Must be experienced with business requirements development and use cases.
